Rob has worked in adult social care for 25 years, supporting adults with learning disabilities. Rob has supported people with a wide range of needs, including people on the autism spectrum, those with communication difficulties and those with positive behaviour support needs. As well as his work with Confico, Rob is employed as a peripatetic support worker with the national charity United Response, who he has been with since 1998.

 

Rob enjoys his work with Confico as it gives an opportunity to enable people to engage meaningfully and powerfully in the arts. He enjoys seeing the dancers develop their skills while challenging others’ preconceptions of what a person with disabilities can achieve.
